Web3 without limits: goodmorning & LimeChain’s team augmentation story

Knowledge Background

TL;DR

When goodmorning set its sights on Web3, LimeChain opened the door. What star ted as a bold move from us - leaving Web2 behind - turned into a long-term, high-impact par tnership. Today, our engineers are key players on projects that rank in the top 25 by market cap. This is what happens when you invest in people, not just code.

About LimeChain

LimeChain kicked off in 2017 when four friends teamed up to push the boundaries of Web3. Fast for ward, and you’ve got a crew of 170+ engineers and exper ts with a por tfolio spanning 250+ blockchain projects for enterprises and protocols around the world.

Their sweet spot? Protocol-level infrastructure, cross-chain solutions, and DeFi innovation, trusted by industr y leaders like Ethereum, Solana, PwC, Coinbase, Hedera, and P&G. That’s why teaming up with LimeChain on ambitious blockchain projects just makes sense.

Challenge

The challenge

Growing a world-class blockchain team isn’t about headcount. It’s about finding people who care, commit, and actually get Web3. Before we joined, LimeChain’s biggest pain points were:

01Talent fit

They ’d worked with plenty of vendors before, but too many shipped “Web2 tourists ” in the Web3 space - outsourced engineers who clock in, code, and clock out, never investing in the tech or the mission.

02Quality control

Juggling too many vendors meant less control, more risk, and a revolving door of contributors. They needed a par tner who could scale with them, deliver senior-level skills, and actually care about the mission.

“It’s rare to find a partner who feels li k e an extension of your own team. With goodmorning, we found that and so much more. We are extremely grateful for their unique contribution to our company .

Our approach

We didn’t just want to play in Web3 - we wanted to own it. Before even reaching out to LimeChain, we invested serious time upskilling our team, making sure everyone understood the nuances of decentralized development. Once we were ready, we made the first move. LimeChain put us through their technical challenges, and our engineers proved themselves, meeting (and often exceeding ) their senior standards.

Integration wasn’t just about technical skills. Our people had to fit into LimeChain’s established culture and workflow: daily standups, roadmap reviews, performance cycles, and client demos. Fast forward to today: our engineers work shoulder to shoulder with LimeChain’s own, learning from their team and bringing our expertise to the table in equal measure. This partnership is built on shared standards, open communication, and a drive to raise the bar together. Now we’re not just “outsourced talent” - we’re on the calls, in the docs, and at the team events (yes, even the team nights and gift exchanges) .

The solution

What did we deliver? Trust. Consistency. Senior-level engineering firepower that ships. O ur team has contributed across a wide range of LimeChain projects: protocol upgrades, prediction markets, Web3 SDK s, NFT, gaming, and learning platforms, and more. The tech stack? Solidity, N ode.js, Typescript, Java, Go, React - plus a few clever hacks along the way

Team Approach

A recent standout moment

One recent standout moment for the goodmorning team was evaluating the shift in a decentralized network’s block signing scheme to BLS (Boneh–Lynn–Shacham) signatures. This move dramatically reduces signature verification overhead and improves scalability. Nikolay Atanasov from our team didn’t just participate – he led the charge and nailed it, building a robust comparison matrix and sharing the results with the broader community.

“At some point , you stop feeling like a contractor and start feeling like a teammate. That ’s when the real magic happens. The technical challenges are tough, but that ’s exactly why we’re here .

That isn't a one - off win

With 19,500+ hours logged (and counting), our engineers are now a core par t of LimeChain’s DNA - invited to team events, trusted with onboarding, and continually pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Web3.

Why team
augmentation matters

In Web3, speed and expertise are everything. But building an in-house team from scratch? Slow, risky, and expensive. Team augmentation lets you skip the resume roulette and get straight to building with people who already know the ropes, care about the mission, and can hit the ground running from day one.

Ready to make your team unstoppable ?

Let’s talk about how goodmorning can help you scale, innovate, and lead in Web3 without the hiring headaches. Let’s build something big.
