DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Deploy, manage, and maintain complex cloud infrastructure while ensuring the stability, reliability, and scalability of production systems.
- Provide architectural solutions for complex data and processing requirements involving scalable systems and rapid growth.
- Automate and streamline system operations and deployments.
- Collaborate with developers and other teams to optimize system architecture and deployment processes.
- Manage, configure and troubleshoot SQL and NoSQL databases as well as networking issues, including DNS, firewalls, and routing and DDOS protection.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential issues.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator, or a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Communication and collaboration skills are essential.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure technologies such as data centers, cloud, virtualization, storage and backup.
- Understanding of security concepts and best practices.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration (Debian/RHEL based), including the ability to install, configure, and maintain common services - web servers, databases, logging, etc.
- A decent understanding of the low-level operation of the Linux networking and IO subsystems.
- Experience managing production systems with cloud providers such as AWS, DigitalOcean or similar. Maintaining high availability is a plus.
- Experience with managing SQL and NoSQL-type databases. Experience in handling replicated MongoDB is a plus.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines - Github, Gitlab, Jenkins or other.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, including DNS, firewalls, and routing.
- Familiarity with automation configuration management/infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform/Ansible (or Chef/Puppet).
It’s a plus if you have the following:
- Experience with server-side JavaScript.
- Familiarity with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers, etc.).
- Experience with Cloudflare or other CDN/DDOS solutions.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK stack.
- Understanding of Web3 or an eagerness to learn about it.
